The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS), located in Huntsville, AL. AMS leads in providing responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions, specializing in air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, and prototype hardware development. This role focuses on creating unique solutions for complex problems within the defense sector by analyzing and modeling foreign threat systems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Intelligence Analysis: Perform all-source technical intelligence analysis of foreign threat systems, focusing on multi-function phased-array radars and surface-to-air missile systems.
• System Assessment: Conduct comprehensive system performance assessments and design postulation for major subsystems like phased array antennas, transmitters, receivers, and advanced signal processors.
• Model Development: Develop threat system models designed to accurately match intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking, and signal processing.
• Technical Communication: Prepare technical briefings, papers, and reports to effectively communicate intelligence analysis and assessments of foreign threat systems.
• Data Management: Ensure accurate characterization and modeling of foreign threat systems in critical technical databases, such as the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, with a focus on defense sector problem-solving.
• Experience: A graduating GPA of 3.5 or higher. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration, and the ability to comfortably interact with and deliver presentations to customers, coworkers, and management.
• Skills: Technical intelligence analysis, system performance assessments, threat system model development, radar signal processing, and computer algorithms/logic.
• Bonus: Proficiency in MATLAB, software development skills, particularly in object-oriented programming principles, and current residency in Huntsville, AL or willingness to relocate. Candidate must be a US-only citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a Final TOP SECRET/SSBI Clearance.
