About the Job

As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring Lowe’s customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. This position combines hands-on product handling with strong customer service and operational support, contributing to a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment & Staging: Accurately pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders on time. Maintain clean, organized, and safe staging areas.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver excellent service by meticulously selecting high-quality items, thoroughly validating orders, answering customer questions, and effectively connecting customers with the appropriate associates for specialized assistance.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain current certification for powered equipment, including Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks, adhering to all safety protocols and requirements.
  • Inventory Management Support: Contribute to inventory accuracy by proficiently using the Orders App, ensuring SIMS compliance, and collaborating with leadership to resolve any short picks or discrepancies.
  • Operational & Administrative Tasks: Complete essential administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as conducting audits, performing order follow-ups, and managing locker systems. Promptly report any safety hazards or theft concerns to management.
  • Customer-First Mindset: Achieve daily responsibilities with a consistent customer-first approach, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills in all interactions.
  • Other Duties: Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Computer Proficiency: 6 Months of Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • Retail Technology Experience: 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • Powered Equipment Certification: Must possess or be able to obtain certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck. (Certification is required for the role).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Retail Experience: 6 Months of Retail experience.
  • Fulfillment/Customer Service Experience: 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position, particularly within a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • Material Handling Experience: 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
