Internship Program | HUB International
The Tone:
This is a full-time, paid internship at HUB International, located in San Diego, CA. HUB is an insurance broker and a network of doers dedicated to supporting clients and communities. This program offers a hands-on opportunity to launch a career in the fast-growing insurance brokerage industry. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects and build a foundation for a successful future by gaining exposure to various career paths and learning directly from industry experts.

• Mission: To gain hands-on experience in insurance brokerage and contribute to client service, sales, and administrative tasks within the business.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales and service teams to work with clients and communities across the United States to understand unique regional needs.
• Policy Administration: Gain hands-on experience in managing policies, endorsements, renewals, and data, while assisting in claims processing.
• Market Research: Support the analysis of United States insurance markets and regional trends.
• Technical Training: Participate in workshops and training sessions to strengthen your skills and industry knowledge.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: College students with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation, holding some college education.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills; strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and handling multiple tasks; a collaborative team player with a desire to help others; independent and self-motivated, capable of autonomous work.
• Bonus: A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about the insurance industry.
