Overview: Store Teammate

Our store teammates are dedicated to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This is achieved through their:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet every customer and proactively approach them to understand their needs and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Merchandising & Presentation: Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards, including following established floor sets, signage requirements, executing price changes, and maintaining inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
  • Program Promotion: Actively promote company programs such as customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all Company information.
  • Inclusive Environment: Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
  • Team Support: Adopt an “all-hands-on-deck” approach to support the team across all store functions.
  • Assigned Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
    • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
    • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with the use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
    • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
