• Mission: To serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience, accurately taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service Excellence: Quickly and accurately assist guests with their orders, process transactions efficiently, and ensure a smooth, friendly experience from start to finish.
• Menu Expertise: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Panera’s full menu offerings and any current Limited Time Offers, providing accurate information and recommendations to guests.
• Positive Interactions: Consistently deliver excellent guest service, proactively addressing needs and ensuring a positive interaction in every circumstance.
• Operational Insight: Stay informed about the daily priorities and operational needs, actively contributing to the team’s efficiency and success throughout your shift.
• Cultural Contribution: Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude, readily embrace changes, and actively participate in fostering Panera’s culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust among both guests and team members.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age and possess a fundamental understanding of basic food safety practices, including obtaining and maintaining a Food Handler’s Card as mandated by local regulations.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to effectively work and learn within a vibrant, customer-centric environment, coupled with the flexibility to work varied hours, which may include evenings and weekends, to meet operational demands.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication capabilities are essential to clearly interact with guests and fellow associates, ensuring accurate understanding in a potentially busy setting. Additionally, the role requires the physical capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and to comfortably stand and walk for durations of up to 6 hours during a shift.
