Engineer, Product Integration for Paisly | Paisly
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Paisly, located in the US. Paisly aims to become a digital disruptor in the travel industry by connecting various services and products seamlessly. This position is vital for overseeing the entire lifecycle of these crucial integrations, from initial design and development through to ongoing maintenance and improvement. The role requires extensive collaboration with internal teams, JetBlue partners, and external business partners to deliver high-quality, predictable, and efficient technology solutions that support the evolving landscape of travel products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Integration Management: Design, develop, and manage the complete lifecycle of business partner connectors and product integrations, from initial conception to retirement.
• Technical Development: Interpret complex business logic and implement efficient algorithms using languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit tests with strong coverage, and conduct thorough load and performance tests to ensure solution robustness and reliability.
• Delivery Excellence: Ensure the product integration team consistently delivers projects with high quality, predictability, and efficiency.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to collaboratively develop the product vision and roadmap for Paisly.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four years of relevant work experience demonstrating equivalent capabilities will be considered.
• Experience: A minimum of three years in technology roles, with proven experience in writing production-grade software in at least one language among Java, Python, or Go. This includes experience across the end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Skills: A solid understanding of software engineering environments and industry standards is required, coupled with strong knowledge of internet technologies, protocols, and methodologies for delivering web-based products. Experience interacting with various organizational levels and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is also essential. This role involves 10% overnight travel.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include four years or more in technology roles, experience architecting or developing internet-scale, production-grade solutions within virtualized cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a working understanding of Agile and/or Lean methodologies.
