Business Finance Intern

Team: Global Planning & Analysis and Global Reporting organizations

Duration: 3-4 months

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support the Global Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Global Reporting organizations. You will be involved in documenting current-state global FP&A processes, exploring potential AI and automation use cases, and reviewing pricing rate card update processes. This role provides practical exposure to core FP&A activities, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting, along with collaboration across finance teams in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document current-state global FP&A processes, encompassing planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and allocation activities.
  • Gain an understanding of annual planning, budget development, and forecast update activities through data collection and analysis.
  • Support the exploration and documentation of potential AI and automation use cases within FP&A.
  • Partner with FP&A team members to gather inputs and catalog existing reporting needs globally.
  • Review and document the pricing rate update process, including key inputs, assumptions, and controls.
  • Assist with basic financial analysis, summaries, and presentation materials for management review.
  • Support ad hoc FP&A projects and requests as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Interest: Strong interest in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly document processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to understand financial data and workflows.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Work Ethic: Organized, dependable, and eager to learn.

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S.-based candidates, placement within the salary range is determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, job level, and location.
