What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare documentation: Assist in preparing feasibility studies, engineering drawings, specifications, and comprehensive reports.
• Design site components: Contribute to the design and detailing of site layout, grading plans, roadway infrastructure, and utility systems.
• Manage stormwater: Engage in stormwater management efforts, including hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and erosion and sediment control (E&SC) design.
• Support permitting: Aid in permitting efforts by understanding and applying local, state, and federal ordinances and regulations.
• Perform varied tasks: Complete additional assigned tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline (e.g., Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering) for an early career role.
• Experience: Recent and upcoming graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Some experience working with stormwater management design calculations, particularly utilizing Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling tools, is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with engineering design tools, such as CADD software and project management software. Proficiency in basic office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe. Excellent organizational skills, proven ability to conceptualize the “Big Picture” alongside project goals, and effective coordination and prioritization of design tasks. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bonus: Possession of the FE / EIT certification. Exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bluebeam Revu. Ability to collaborate effectively with a team while demonstrating a self-motivated demeanor and strong multi-tasking skills. Proven track record of punctuality with consistent attendance.
