What You’ll Actually Do
• Test Script Creation: Assist Associate QAs in developing thorough and comprehensive test scripts to accurately evaluate all functional criteria for user stories.
• Documentation & Reporting: Work collaboratively with Associate and Senior QAs to provide detailed documentation of testing results for all stories and features, ensuring clear pass/fail records.
• UAT Management: Assist in and progressively take ownership of authoring User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, participating actively in UAT preparation and troubleshooting processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage closely with the development team and clients to thoroughly understand system functionality, effectively communicate testing results, and occasionally demonstrate functionality directly to users.
• Agile Integration: Operate within an agile framework, collaborating with various team members including other QA testers, business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure high-quality solutions align with client requirements, including testing integrations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: US Citizenship is required, and this remote position for a federal contract must be performed within the United States. Candidates should bring 2+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, along with an active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Experience: 2+ years experience in quality assurance testing; 1+ year reviewing and analyzing system quality data and documentation; 1+ year authoring test scripts; 1+ year testing all product backlog items with pass/fail documentation; 1+ year working in an agile environment.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; proactive and highly communicative approach; good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to project deliverables; familiarity with agile methodologies; effective time management.
• Bonus: Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance; strong experience in an agile environment; skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize functionality; experience working across multiple projects; experience with ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, and App Engine; has an active CSA; 1+ year experience creating test scripts for UAT; experience testing telephonic systems.
