Junior Field Applications Engineer – NVIDIA
NVIDIA is looking for a passionate, hardworking, and creative Junior Field Applications Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in bringing groundbreaking enterprise solutions, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, to the world. As a specialist in system design, networking, and a leader to customers, you will play a pivotal role in the AI computing revolution.
This position focuses on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. Your primary responsibilities will involve onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems, working cross-functionally within the organization, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
- Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
- Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
- Actively establish and maintain the technical relationship with customer engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements within the enterprise AI market.
- Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
- Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.
What We Need To See
- Education: BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
- Problem-Solving: Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organization: Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology into complex projects.
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
- Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
- Programming skills: C/C++ and Python.
- Embedded Systems: Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
- Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary Range:
- Level 1: $92,000 USD – $149,500 USD
- Level 2: $108,000 USD – $178,250 USD
(Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.)
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
