Broadband Technician / MDU Field Technician / In-Building Technician / Cable Technician / ISP Technician / Fiber Installer / Internet Technician | Dexian DISYS

The Tone:
This is a 12+ months contract role for Dexian DISYS’s client, located across multiple cities including Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, and Miami Beach, FL. Dexian DISYS is seeking highly skilled technicians to design, install, and troubleshoot in-building broadband networks. This role is crucial for managing MDU and commercial build projects, ensuring seamless coordination and comprehensive documentation of installations. Success in this position contributes directly to the delivery of robust connectivity solutions.

• Mission: Own the design, installation, and troubleshooting of in-building broadband networks and the management of MDU/commercial build projects.
• Tech Stack: coax, Cat6a, fiber

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design in-building broadband networks utilizing coax, Cat6a, and fiber optic technologies.
• Install: Install various components and systems for in-building broadband networks.
• Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within in-building broadband networks to ensure functionality.
• Manage: Manage MDU and commercial build projects, overseeing the entire installation lifecycle.
• Document: Coordinate installations and produce accurate as-built documentation for completed projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven background as a skilled technician with core domain knowledge in CATV.
• Experience: Practical experience with ladder usage and drilling, coupled with strong customer-facing communication skills. Must possess and operate own vehicle for all job duties.
• Skills: CATV knowledge, Ladder and drilling proficiency, Customer-facing communication.
• Bonus: Experience performing work on rooftops.
