What You’ll Actually Do
• Quantity Takeoffs: Perform detailed and accurate quantity takeoffs for earthwork, underground utilities, and other site development scopes.
• Software Utilization: Utilize industry-leading software, including Agtek, Bluebeam, Procore, and B2W, for takeoffs and bid preparation.
• Pricing & Bid Preparation: Gather competitive pricing from material suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to help assemble comprehensive bids.
• Document Review: Meticulously review construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to ensure accuracy and identify potential risks.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate effectively with senior estimators and project managers to clarify scope and ensure seamless project handoff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid Career. Dedicated estimating or field experience directly related to turnkey sitework projects, encompassing commercial, light industrial, or residential subdivision work.
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong command and 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Agtek software for earthwork modeling and takeoffs.
• Skills: Excellent construction plan reading abilities, proven quantity takeoff skills, proficiency in Agtek, Bluebeam, Procore, and B2W, highly detail-oriented, organized, and a strong work ethic.
