The Tone:
This is a Driver role vital to a company that supplies a wide range of automotive parts to professional customers. This position is responsible for the critical last-mile delivery, ensuring that parts reach customers safely and efficiently. Beyond delivery, the role actively supports sales initiatives, manages returns and collections, and maintains the store environment, directly impacting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the overall operational success of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Part Delivery: Pick, stage, and safely deliver a variety of automotive parts to pro customers, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both MainStreet and National Pro customers, utilizing these interactions to provide the CPP with valuable insights.
• Sales and Promotion: Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers, actively promoting current sales and loyalty programs, and assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Financial and Inventory Management: Daily collect credit accounts from customers, pick up returns and cores, and perform general stocking duties including truck stocking, back stock management, and cycle counts.
• Store Operations & Engagement: Maintain comprehensive store cleanliness across floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot, and engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services while staying knowledgeable about product inventory and new arrivals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This position is suitable for an individual ready for an early career role that combines physical delivery responsibilities with customer service and sales support within the automotive parts industry.
• Experience: Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Demonstrated ability in safe driving and navigation is essential, alongside familiarity with using a delivery board system.
• Skills: Essential skills include the ability to speak and write English effectively (Spanish is a plus), accurately use basic math for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and read/interpret documents like safety rules and parts catalogs. The role also requires confidence in engaging customers, promoting products, and a willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Bonus: Prior automotive parts experience is preferred to enhance success in understanding product inventory and customer needs.
