• Team: Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Mission: To facilitate efficient material transportation to and from destinations and support organized, effective warehouse functions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Delivery Coordination: Coordinate and execute daily product and material deliveries to proper destinations, selecting efficient routes.
• Product Handling & Loading: Properly load products onto company trucks, double-checking against shipping papers with a teammate to prevent damage and ensure accuracy.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance: Conduct daily inspections of delivery trucks, complete Vehicle Maintenance Request forms as needed, and maintain an updated driver log and legal documentation.
• Warehouse Receiving & Stocking: Receive products by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers, and conveying items to designated storage locations.
• Order Fulfillment & Maintenance: Assemble customer orders from stock, prepare them for shipment, and assist with general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Practical experience in warehouse operations and material transportation.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and accurately handle product logistics, including identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Skills: Effective communication with teammates and customers, accurate and detail-oriented work with good mathematical aptitude, self-motivation to work consistently with minimal supervision, and a valid driver’s license.
