Surveillance Investigator | Command Investigations, LLC

The Tone:
This is a full-time, field-based role at Command Investigations, LLC. Command Investigations specializes in providing surveillance, remote investigations, and specialty services to the insurance defense industry. This position is vital for meticulously observing and documenting subjects’ activities, delivering reliable video evidence and reports essential for client case reviews and outcomes.

• Mission: Conduct field surveillance investigations to gather detailed video evidence and prepare comprehensive reports for client review.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Surveillance: Conduct field surveillance by meticulously observing, tracking, and recording subjects during their daily activities.
• Planning: Develop and execute pre-surveillance planning tailored specifically to each location and case requirement.
• Documentation: Record and document all investigative findings through detailed video evidence and comprehensive written reports.
• Communication: Communicate consistently and effectively with team leaders regarding observations, positions, and tactical strategies.
• Equipment Use: Utilize digital surveillance equipment, web-based technology, and investigative software to perform surveillance operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career role requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, focusing on field investigations.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience, must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record, and carry personal auto insurance with liability limits of 100k/300k/100k. Willingness to travel and work a variable schedule, including holidays, weekends, overtime, and early starts (as early as 3:00 AM), is required.
• Skills: Highly observant, detail-oriented, strong sense of integrity, independence, reliability, excellent judgment, situational awareness, adaptability to changing environments, self-motivation, strong written and verbal communication, and professional demeanor with discretion.
• Bonus: Prior investigative experience and a college degree are preferred qualifications.
