What You’ll Actually Do

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires current enrollment in an accredited degree program, specifically within Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another closely related scientific or technical discipline. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough and strong grasp of core engineering principles and underlying technology.
• Experience: Due to the sensitive nature of the work performed within General Dynamics Mission Systems facilities, U.S. Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for all applicants. No prior professional experience beyond academic standing is explicitly required.
• Skills: A strong foundational understanding of core engineering principles and concepts is essential for success in this role, enabling the application of theoretical knowledge to practical defense challenges.
• Bonus: While not strictly required, preference will be given to candidates who have achieved a sophomore academic standing or higher within their degree program.
