• Mission: Ensure the safe and timely transportation of residents to social and other destinations, supporting their active community life.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Scheduled Transportation: Skillfully operate company vehicles to transport residents from our community to various pre-determined social events, appointments, and other essential destinations according to an assigned, punctual schedule.
• Safety-First Operations: Consistently practice and enforce safe driving techniques, meticulously adhere to all posted speed limits, and rigorously follow state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times.
• Passenger Accessibility and Security: Expertly secure passengers’ wheelchairs using designated restraining devices, ensuring that wheelchairs are fully stabilized throughout the duration of each trip.
• Vehicle Upkeep and Readiness: Thoroughly clean both the interior and exterior of the assigned vehicle after each outing, maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment for residents, and ensure adequate fuel levels are consistently maintained.
• Incident and Condition Reporting: Document all instances of damage to company vehicles, encompassing accidents, minor dents, and natural wear and tear, for accurate record-keeping and maintenance planning.

The Must-Haves
• Background and Eligibility: Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED; applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment; and hold current, valid CPR/First Aid certification, demonstrating preparedness for potential emergencies.
• Licensing and Record: Maintain a valid driver’s license with an impeccably clean driving record that consistently meets and surpasses all company insurance standards. Furthermore, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) designation is a mandatory requirement if operating company vehicles with a passenger capacity exceeding 15 individuals, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards for larger transport.
• Safety Acumen: Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and a steadfast commitment to complying with all established safety measures and protocols without exception.
