What You’ll Actually Do
• Machinery Management: Set up and maintain various machinery within the shop, including band saws, torches, and Landis machines, ensuring they are ready for diverse pipe fabrication tasks.
• Pipe Processing: Execute precise measurement, recording, and addition of random pipe lengths, alongside performing tasks such as rolling, grooving, threading, and beveling of pipe.
• Order Fulfillment: Safely and efficiently move loose and bundled pipe within the pipe yard, and accurately assemble complete pipe orders, whether single sticks or bundles, to meet quality standards.
• Safety & Workplace Standards: Diligently maintain a clean and organized work area with readily available supplies, and strictly adhere to all vital safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembly, stacking, and shipping of pipe, including operating powered industrial equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
