• Team: MEP Engineering team, reports directly to the Electrical Team Leader.
• Mission: Serve as a designer on construction documents for electrical systems across a diverse range of markets, including multifamily, commercial, high-rise, hospitality, and EV Fleet projects.
• Tech Stack: Revit

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to produce high-quality engineering construction documents utilizing architectural plans and base files in Revit.
• System Design: Under limited supervision, design electrical systems for various project types, including equipment sizing, energy lighting calculations, and circuit diagrams.
• Critical Analysis: Perform critical calculations such such as electrical load analysis, lighting energy use, voltage drop, and fault analysis.
• Site Engagement: Independently conduct preliminary site investigations and construction progress site visits as required for projects.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers and technical representatives for electrical equipment to support specifications and design.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. This is an early career role.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience, with experience in the field of new building mechanical engineering construction and proficiency in Revit. An Engineer in Training (EIT) license must be obtained within the first year in the role.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to perform critical calculations including electrical load analysis, lighting energy use, voltage drop, and fault analysis.
• Bonus: Prior experience or knowledge of coding and/or machine learning technologies.
