This is a part-time role at Buckle, located in retail stores. Buckle creates the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for its Guests by offering a curated selection of merchandise. This role is essential for delivering Buckle’s mission statement by directly engaging guests, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Sales Teammates are key to providing legendary service and contributing to a positive team culture.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service: Greet Guests with an engaging attitude, answer questions, and recommend merchandise to provide a legendary shopping experience.
• Sales Performance: Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals set by Store Management, and meet performance standards for Buckle business builders.
• Store Operations: Perform cashiering duties, open and close cash registers, handle payments and exchanges, and maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.
• Merchandise Presentation: Present merchandise to maximize sales, ensure the sales floor is consistently sized, and appropriately display new freight.
• Team Collaboration: Recognize recruiting opportunities for new teammates, contribute to a positive floor culture, and share product knowledge with the team.

• Background: Entry-level position with no prior experience or training required.
• Experience: No specific prior experience or training is necessary; all required knowledge will be provided on the job.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, customer service orientation, ability to achieve sales targets, and organizational skills.
