2026 Summer Internship Program; Marketing, HR, AI/IT | Kumho Tire USA, Inc.
The Tone:
This is an inaugural Summer Internship Program at Kumho Tire USA, Inc., located in Atlanta, GA. Kumho Tire USA (KUSA) is proud to launch this program, seeking three ambitious interns—one each in AI/IT, HR, and Marketing. Interns will be entrusted with leading real, scoped projects that directly contribute to KUSA’s business objectives, moving beyond traditional intern tasks. From week one, participants will own a significant project, gain valuable experience presenting to KUSA leadership, and leave with tangible deliverables. The program also emphasizes professional growth through development workshops and consistent mentorship, ensuring a impactful and supportive learning experience.

• Mission: Lead a significant, scoped project within a specific department to directly contribute to Kumho Tire USA’s business objectives with tangible deliverables.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Lead a significant, scoped project from week one within your assigned department—AI/IT, HR, or Marketing—driving it to completion with defined deliverables.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis specific to your project focus, such as designing and running an internal IT user satisfaction study, analyzing KUSA’s competitive positioning in the US market, or evaluating existing programs.
• Proposal Development: Develop and present strategic proposals or roadmaps, including an AI utilization proposal for KUSA’s technology roadmap, a brand strategy proposal for KUSA leadership, or frameworks for talent development.
• Program Support: Support key departmental initiatives and ongoing operations, specifically assisting with 2026 Talent Development programs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives as part of the HR role.
• Executive Presentation: Prepare and deliver a comprehensive final project presentation to Kumho Tire USA executives, providing an opportunity to present your work and findings directly to leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or a May 2026 graduate. All academic majors are welcome. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, including OPT and CPT candidates, however, visa sponsorship is not available for this program.
• Experience: At least one prior internship completed during enrollment (proof required) OR any prior professional work experience. Experience should demonstrate the ability to take initiative and drive projects.
• Skills: Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and comfort with leading a project with real, measurable deliverables. Business-level English proficiency is required for all communications.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Korean is considered a plus.
