What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety First: Always prioritize safety in all work activities.
• Ticket Management: Receive, document, and process work tickets and emails using a laptop computer.
• Planning & Interpretation: Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine optimal methods for utility locating.
• Equipment Operation: Utilize provided equipment and technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level background with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive 100% paid training is provided.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, with availability for on-call emergency response.
