The Tone:
This is a summer internship at Fiserv, located in Irving, TX. Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, moving money and information securely across the world by connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers daily. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will contribute to understanding large datasets and providing data-driven solutions, helping to secure the future of fintech. This role offers hands-on experience in application development and the opportunity to develop analytical skills with advanced data tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Work with senior analysts on data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
• Visualization: Assist in creating data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Governance: Participate in data governance and quality assurance efforts to maintain data integrity.
• Documentation: Support ongoing documentation of data processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or other Technology Degrees, with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2028.
• Experience: 0-2 years of professional work experience and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization and should not require future sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong foundational understanding of data collection and analysis principles, data visualization concepts, data governance, quality assurance, and process documentation.
• Bonus: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau, and advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint are preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to changing priorities, and military-affiliated applicants (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists) are encouraged to apply.
