What You’ll Actually Do
• Cable Routing: Assist with the pulling and routing of various types of cable on site, contributing to organized and efficient network infrastructure.
• Rack Assembly: Stack and drill racks together according to precise specifications, forming the backbone for equipment housing.
• Equipment Labeling: Perform meticulous labeling of cables and equipment to ensure accurate identification and easy maintenance.
• Porting Support: Assist with porting activities as directed, aiding in the connection and configuration of network devices.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to data center standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level role seeking highly motivated and trainable individuals eager to learn new skills and procedures in the telecommunications field. A strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and proven dependability are paramount for success in this demanding data center environment.
• Experience: Prior experience working in physically challenging roles, such as construction or similar environments, is highly valued, demonstrating the resilience and stamina needed for this position. Consistent presence and punctuality are crucial for success.
• Skills: Experience with hand and power tools, general understanding or experience with cabling concepts, a background in construction or similar physically demanding environments, the ability to perform cable pulling tasks effectively, and familiarity with installation processes.
• Bonus: Prior telecom experience, exposure to electrical wiring or low-voltage systems, or experience in the military, demonstrating discipline and a strong work ethic, are considered beneficial.
