Junior Technician | Evergreen Fire and Security (EFS)

The Tone:
This is an early career role at Evergreen Fire and Security (EFS). EFS builds and maintains technically advanced fire alarm, access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and mass notification systems. This role is crucial for assisting with the installation, repair, and testing of these life safety and security solutions, directly contributing to the protection of lives, critical infrastructure, and information for government and commercial customers.

• Mission: Assists with the installation, repair, and testing of life safety and security systems to protect critical infrastructure and information.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Systems Support: Provide assistance with the installation, repair, and testing of various life safety and security systems.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the onsite representative for Evergreen, delivering top-notch service and product training to customers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure safety by complying with all relevant State and Federal regulations.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle service order and project administration.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Low-Voltage training certificate.
• Experience: Basic electrical wiring experience and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). Ability to communicate effectively with customers, schedule appointments, and adhere to instructions and code requirements. Must hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, be able to pass pre-employment and continued random background, drug, and MVR screenings, and be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a government clearance.
• Bonus: Active government clearance; prior experience working on government contracts or military bases; OSHA 30 certificate; Trainee Card.
