Role Description

This is a remote, unpaid Digital Media Internship. The intern will play a crucial role in enhancing Playcraft Ventures’ digital presence and supporting media initiatives specifically related to startups, gaming, and interactive technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation within a dynamic venture platform.

You will collaborate closely with the team to support content production, digital marketing efforts, and online community growth. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the intersection of technology, media, and venture capital, looking to make a tangible impact on brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit podcast videos and short-form clips optimized for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality production and engaging storytelling.
  • Manage Playcraft Ventures’ social media accounts including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and others, curating content calendars and scheduling posts.
  • Assist in developing and executing digital marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and engagement across target audiences.
  • Create engaging content for social media and digital campaigns, including graphics, short videos, and written posts, aligning with brand voice and objectives.
  • Track and analyze content performance and engagement metrics using relevant tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support project management and digital initiatives across the team, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar software.
  • Excellent social media management skills and a deep familiarity with the functionalities and best practices of major platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret digital performance data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrable experience with digital strategy or digital marketing concepts and execution.
  • Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A genuine interest in technology, startups, gaming, or interactive media, demonstrating an understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required); current juniors or seniors are strongly encouraged to apply.
