The intern will contribute directly to modernizing customer interactions and improving operational efficiency and satisfaction using cloud and AI technologies. What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Contact Center Support: Assist in testing and troubleshooting AI-driven features within AWS Connect, such as chatbots and voice agents, and collaborate to propose AI improvements for customer interactions.
• Data Analysis: Help collect and analyze call center data to identify trends and insights, and support the creation of basic reports and dashboards using AWS analytical tools.
• System Testing & QA: Participate in user testing of new and existing AWS Connect features, providing feedback and documenting issues to ensure system stability and functionality.
• Process Automation: Work on small-scale automation tasks using various AWS services to streamline workflows and assist in optimizing call routing strategies and self-service options.
• Research & Innovation: Explore emerging AI and cloud technologies relevant to the contact center environment and present findings on potential improvements and innovative solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be an undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing an Engineering degree, specifically Computer Science.
• Experience: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Skills: Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts; familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical ideas.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS cloud technologies; enrollment in a university co-op program.
