Property Management Intern | Driven Brands

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Team: Reports to the Director, Property Management.
• Mission: Support the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of corporate-owned property and facilities management projects.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, property management systems
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Licenses: Assist with field reconciliation projects to ensure all business licenses are current and accurate across the portfolio.
• Lease & Rent: Track and manage lease agreements, meticulously calculate rent commencement dates, and maintain records for an international property portfolio.
• Financial Systems: Ensure the accuracy of NNN (triple net) reconciliations and maintain integrity within property management systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Manage and update preventative maintenance schedules, specifically for backflow and OWS (Oil-Water Separator) systems, ensuring timely dispatch of services.
• Invoice & Logistics: Review and clear outstanding invoices, and coordinate logistics for pending shop openings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently a Rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or Accounting.
• Experience: Strong academic record (3.0 GPA or higher) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial and property management systems, and the ability to seamlessly handle both strategic and hands-on tasks.
• Bonus: Concentration in Commercial Real Estate.
