What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Proactively greet and promptly assist customers upon their arrival, efficiently managing interactions with multiple customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Product Expertise: Effectively understand and assess customer needs by sharing detailed product knowledge, accurately answering questions, guiding them to specific merchandise, and thoughtfully offering personalized recommendations. This includes engaging in suggestive selling techniques while staying informed on product availability.
• Promotional Awareness: Actively inform customers about all current store events, ongoing promotions, and any special activities, aiming to enhance their shopping journey and successfully drive sales targets.
• Concern Resolution: Skillfully address and resolve customer issues and concerns with a professional demeanor, utilizing comprehensive product knowledge to propose alternative solutions and striving to convert returns into beneficial exchanges whenever feasible.
• Operational Support: Maintain open communication with management by regularly informing them about merchandise restocking needs, required service adjustments, and valuable customer feedback in a timely manner. Additionally, collaborate effectively with the store team to achieve overall store and company objectives, fostering a productive work environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be at least 16 years old to meet the minimum age requirement for employment.
• Experience: Available to work a flexible schedule, which includes days, evenings, and weekends, to meet the fluctuating needs of the business. Candidates should be comfortable with or willing to learn how to operate essential retail technology, such as cash registers, hand-held, and mobile devices, and possess the ability to acquire procedural knowledge through comprehensive on-the-job training.
• Skills: Demonstrated good communication skills with the capability to engage effectively and courteously with diverse customers; proficient in handling customer interactions and adept at professionally resolving potential issues or concerns; possesses basic information-gathering skills necessary for effective problem-solving in a retail environment.
