This Junior Project Engineer role is crucial for new engineers looking to build a strong foundation in power distribution engineering, as it involves transforming customer requirements into efficient, buildable solutions alongside experienced engineers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Quotation Support: Assist in the preparation of preliminary layouts and drawings for EAE Busway systems, conduct quantity take-offs and product counts for accurate quotations, and help organize technical documentation and prepare bills of materials and equipment schedules.
• Project Execution Assistance: Support drawing revisions, implement customer redline updates, aid in the creation of submittals and contract documentation, track internal equipment orders, and monitor delivery timelines and project schedules, communicating updates as needed.
• Field & Site Engagement: Participate in site meetings, assist with precise field measurements, and provide support and technical guidance to contractors during the installation and commissioning of EAE systems on-site.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field teams, facilitating communication regarding project progress and actively supporting the resolution of any issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, establishing a foundational knowledge for this early career role.
• Experience: Bring 0–2 years of professional experience, with internships or co-op placements in relevant engineering or technical fields being highly valued and considered.
• Skills: Demonstrate familiarity with design software such as Revit or AutoCAD Electrical; exhibit strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational habits; and possess strong communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn and grow.
