Job Description: Junior Management Analyst (DoD Programs)

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Management Analyst to support organizational studies and process-improvement initiatives for critical DoD programs. This role is contingent upon funding.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

USD $84,000.00/Yr. – USD $139,950.00/Yr. Salary will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support organizational studies and process-improvement initiatives within DoD programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of operational manuals for various DoD programs.
  • Collect relevant data for analysis.
  • Conduct work-simplification studies to identify efficiencies.
  • Assist senior analysts in developing actionable recommendations for process and operational improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Technical, or an IT discipline (ABET/CAE accredited).
    • Alternative Education/Experience: Associate’s degree with four (4) or more years of relevant experience, OR six (6) years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret (or higher) security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and meet eligibility requirements for Top Secret / SCI access.
  • Experience: Less than three (3) years of experience in management-analysis activities (CSWF Junior level).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Tableau.
  • Experience conducting process-mapping using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Experience with workflow-optimization studies.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft clear, concise reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policy briefs for senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition and program-management processes.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with comfort in delivering findings to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possession of a CAPM or PMP certification (or actively in progress).

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic Travel: Up to 10% of the year (approximately 2 weeks).
  • International Travel: Less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and with prior clearance approval.
