What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an Assembler II to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for cooperatively manufacturing and assembling high-quality Glass, Doors, Frames, and Subcomponents. You must adhere to work orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to consistently meet daily safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into sub-assemblies, assemblies, and completed units, strictly adhering to the assembly traveler/standard work instructions.
  • Utilize hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools as required for various jobs.
  • Maintain acceptable performance standards across assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Actively participate in the plant-wide 6-S program by maintaining your work area and common areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform minor adjustments or setups to equipment or machines under supervision.
  • Inspect parts or completed units using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to your lead person or department supervisor.
  • Follow all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) where provided, as well as instructions from leads and supervisors.
  • Assist with cross-training team members and processes, and provide production assistance as needed.
  • Perform a variety of assembly or production duties with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of production assembly work experience

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
