About the Job: 2026 Summer Internship Program – Technology Operations & Presentation Intern

This program is your gateway to hands-on experience, professional development, and meaningful connections within a dynamic and inclusive corporate office. The internship will take place from June 1st to August 7th, 2026, at Cinemark’s Service Center in Plano, TX.

The Role of a Technology Operations & Presentation Intern
This exciting internship offers the opportunity to work on Cinemark’s upcoming “Melchoir” Digital Cinema Server rollout and new projection solutions. You will play a key role in evaluating emerging theatrical infrastructure equipment, including projectors, servers, and software, and creating crucial training documentation to support smooth implementation across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and Test Equipment: Collaborate with CNK evaluation staff to assess, compare, and document the performance of projectors, servers, and related software.
- Training Support: Apply insights from evaluations to assist in training team members on new technologies.
- Content Development: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create Yonyx knowledgebase articles and comprehensive training documentation.
- Alpha/Beta Testing: Conduct testing of selected equipment and set up lab environments for trials.
- Data Analysis & Support: Perform ticket analysis, investigate trends, and provide support to identify improvement opportunities.
- Documentation Management: Create and maintain training materials from the existing queue, ensuring timely updates.
- Feedback Coordination: Manage organizational updates and feedback cycles for documentation requests.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with hardware/software testing and evaluation processes.
- Basic understanding of servers, networking, and projection systems is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear documentation and collaborating with SMEs.
- Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and think critically.
- Tools Knowledge: Experience or willingness to learn documentation platforms (e.g., Yonyx) and ticketing systems.
