Technical Operations Intern | Delta Air Lines, Inc.
The Tone:
This is an internship at Delta Air Lines, Inc., located in Atlanta, GA. Delta operates a global airline network, connecting people and goods across the world. This role supports the Technical Operations Division, which is critical for ensuring the safety and reliability of Delta’s fleet through engineering, maintenance, and operational support. Interns contribute to the foundational technical excellence that keeps Delta’s aircraft flying smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute: Participate in engineering and production/operational related projects within the Technical Operations Division.
• Collaborate: Work within various departments such as Repair Process Engineering, Engine Technical Services, or Fleet Engineering.
• Problem-Solve: Work in a team environment to creatively solve technical problems.
• Execute: Complete assignments with minimum supervision, ensuring safety-conscious behaviors.
• Communicate: Develop and present technical findings through written reports, oral communication, and presentations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above) with a minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) hours completed. Must be studying Aerospace, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management/Analysis, or Computer Science. A minimum 2.5 GPA must be maintained.
• Experience: Ability to commit to the internship timeline from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Must be capable of working in a team environment.
• Skills: Good technical writing skills, oral communication, and presentation skills are essential. Strong knowledge of basic PC skills and Microsoft Office software suite is required.
