• Mission: Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery, material handling, and equipment maintenance to support production and logistics goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Execution: Directly manage the startup, normal operation, shutdown, and emergency procedures for plant systems like Z Train, Steam Boiler, and MAP, ensuring strict compliance with EPA regulations.
• Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance tasks on various equipment, including changing cyclones, hoses, and clearing overloaded belts, while preparing machinery for more complex repairs.
• Material & Logistics Management: Conduct the spotting, inspection, loading, unloading, and movement of railcars and trucks, handle specific materials like sulfuric acid and sulfur, operate track mobiles, and complete necessary regulatory paperwork.
• Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate a range of mobile and heavy machinery including Payloaders, Manlifts, bulldozers, skidders, excavators, and haul trucks to support plant and mining operations.
• Troubleshooting & Compliance: Identify and correct operational errors and equipment problems, complete required inspections, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to all established operating procedures and environmental regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Required certificates in Math (level 3), Reading (level 3), Data (level 3), and Soft Skills (Passed) from Florida Ready to Work or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) assessment.
• Experience: Steady employment history is required; one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Skills: Operation of heavy equipment (e.g., Payloader, Manlift, track mobile, bulldozers, excavators); basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting; adherence to safety and environmental regulations (EPA, FRA, DOT); effective record-keeping and documentation.
• Bonus: High school diploma or equivalent.
