Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer | Axiom

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $104500–$325000 yearly
• Mission: This person will ensure contracts align with client operational and strategic objectives while managing high-volume workflows and providing business-focused advice.
• Tech Stack: CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate various core commercial agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and distribution agreements.
• Project Support: Support large-scale contracting projects across multiple industries, aligning contracts with operational and strategic objectives.
• CLM Processes: Assist with CLM implementation and contract management processes, including developing templates and overseeing contract databases.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal and client stakeholders, including teams located across international jurisdictions.
• Risk Advice: Provide clear, business-focused advice on contractual risk and compliance considerations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: JD or equivalent degree, with active bar membership in good standing.
• Experience: 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, with proven experience drafting and negotiating core commercial contracts. In-house exposure is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume workflows effectively.
• Bonus: CLM system implementation experience, exposure to international contracts or clients, experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, and comfort working as a generalist across multiple contract types and industries.
