About the Job: Junior Commercial Contracts Attorney at Axiom

Join Axiom’s team as a Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer, supporting large-scale client projects across diverse industries. This role is perfect for highly motivated legal professionals with under 5 years of post-qualification experience who possess strong commercial contracting skills and are comfortable with high-volume workflows. Candidates with CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) implementation experience and exposure to international clients are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of core commercial agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and distribution agreements.
  • Support large-scale contracting projects across multiple industries, ensuring that contracts align with both operational and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with CLM implementation and contract management processes, including the development of templates and oversight of contract databases.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and client stakeholders, including teams located across international jurisdictions.
  • Provide clear, business-focused advice on contractual risk and compliance considerations.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry regulations and best practices in commercial contracting.

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent, with active bar membership in good standing.
  • 2–5 years of post-qualification experience; in-house exposure is preferred.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating core commercial contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Preferred Skills

  • CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) system implementation experience.
  • Exposure to international contracts or clients.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working as a generalist across multiple contract types and industries.

Compensation

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. For non-attorney roles, the range is $71,250 to $309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Employees may also be eligible for additional benefits, such as health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
