Job Title: Strategic Initiatives Business Intelligence Intern

Job Summary

The Strategic Initiatives Business Intelligence Intern will collaborate with the BI team to develop dashboards and various data visualizations. The goal is to provide the organization with actionable data, facilitating improvements in workflows and business processes. This role will primarily utilize Tableau and/or Excel to create visualizations that effectively represent data for specific purposes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Initiatives Business Intelligence Intern, you will:

• Utilize Tableau/Power BI to create actionable KPI dashboards.
• Work closely with Operations Leadership to deliver valuable, actionable data.
• Provide training to Operations teams on how to effectively use the created dashboards.
• Collaborate with IT Reporting to develop reports that will serve as data feeds for dashboards.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for someone who is:

• A high school diploma or general education degree holder.
• Possessing an understanding of analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Proficient in Excel-type programs.
• Capable of working effectively within a team environment.
• Equipped with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experienced in contributing to the creation of reports.

Hours: Flexible, approximately 24 hours/week

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday, or Monday – Thursday
• Flexible Schedule

Compensation

Pay Rate: $16.00 – $17.65 per hour
