Asset Management Group Undergraduate Intern | PNC

As a Summer Intern within the Asset Management Group (AMG), you will contribute to an organization that serves individual and corporate clients with significant assets. AMG develops sophisticated, customized financial solutions spanning investment management, wealth planning, trust administration, and private foundation management, all within a supportive, in-office culture. The group is comprised of PNC Private Bank, Institutional Asset Management, and the Investment Office, all working to provide tailored strategies.

• Type: Seasonal (10-week program)
• Team: Asset Management Group (AMG), which encompasses PNC Private Bank, Institutional Asset Management, and the Investment Office.
• Mission: To gain comprehensive exposure to a specific line of business within AMG, expand professional tools, and complement academic education with practical, real-world job experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Results: Perform or assist with core group activities, applying academic knowledge to support business results, including deal, sales, or process support.
• Client Interaction: Engage in internal or external client interactions, contributing to the delivery of service and support for financial solutions.
• Project Support: Support internal projects within the Asset Management Group, contributing to their planning, execution, and successful completion.
• Professional Networking: Identify and network with business representatives and peers, building valuable professional connections across the organization.
• Skill Development: Participate in a range of social learning opportunities, such as mentoring, job shadowing, community outreach, and collaborative group capstone presentations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Working toward a bachelor’s degree with junior status and a minimum GPA of 3.2. Preferred business-relevant majors include Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, and Actuarial Sciences.
• Experience: This role is specifically designed for recent university or college graduates and current students with little to no prior professional experience, provided they possess relevant academic skills and knowledge.
• Skills: Demonstrated competencies in accuracy and attention to detail, analytical thinking, effective communications, initiative, and adaptability, essential for navigating a lively financial environment.
