• Mission: To provide invaluable hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, contributing to active jobsites or critical estimating and preconstruction pursuits, with the goal of becoming a full-time employee.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Projects: Assist project managers and field supervision staff by actively contributing to comprehensive project coordination efforts.
• Estimate Costs: Support financial oversight by accurately estimating costs for necessary change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage Procurement: Engage in essential procurement activities, including soliciting bidders and carefully coordinating the activities of subcontractors.
• Schedule Operations: Play a vital role in project timeline management through the meticulous scheduling of various contracts and materials required.
• Facilitate Information Flow: Ensure organized information flow by managing document control, writing RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and assisting with change order processing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with a keen interest in the construction and water industry sectors.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required, however, the ability and commitment to fulfill a 12-week work schedule is a preferred qualification for the program.
• Skills: Proven capability in areas such as project coordination, estimating costs for change orders, scheduling, effective document control, and clear written communication for RFIs and submittals.
• Bonus: A readiness for potential relocation, as specific project roles and assignments may require travel or temporary shifts in location.
