About the Job: Florida Water Division Internship

Key Responsibilities
As an Intern, you will be integral to our project teams, undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities designed to provide a well-rounded learning experience:
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
- Contribute to financial oversight by estimating costs for change orders.
- Engage in procurement by soliciting bidders and coordinating subcontractor activity.
- Play a role in project timeline management through the scheduling of various contracts and materials.
- Ensure organized information flow via document control.
- Facilitate smooth operations through the coordination of subcontractors.
- Prioritize site safety by participating in safety management initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams by actively participating in team meetings.
- Develop communication skills by writing RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and assisting in the processing of change orders.
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- The ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Be prepared for potential relocation, as specific roles may require it.
