About the Job: Florida Water Division Internship

Key Responsibilities

As an Intern, you will be integral to our project teams, undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities designed to provide a well-rounded learning experience:

• Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Contribute to financial oversight by estimating costs for change orders.
• Engage in procurement by soliciting bidders and coordinating subcontractor activity.
• Play a role in project timeline management through the scheduling of various contracts and materials.
• Ensure organized information flow via document control.
• Facilitate smooth operations through the coordination of subcontractors.
• Prioritize site safety by participating in safety management initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams by actively participating in team meetings.
• Develop communication skills by writing RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and assisting in the processing of change orders.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Be prepared for potential relocation, as specific roles may require it.
