This is a full-time role for an Order Picker at Taylor DM Brands, located in Amsterdam, NY. What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Picking Accuracy: Efficiently pick customer orders, ensuring complete accuracy for all items before they move to the next stage.
• Quality Verification: Perform meticulous quality checks on all products, verifying condition and correctness to meet established standards.
• Stock Organization: Verify the availability of stock, ensuring shelves are accurately and efficiently stocked and maintained.
• Order Preparation: Expertly repackage orders according to specific requirements, preparing them for final dispatch.
• Environment Standards: Actively maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all company safety and cleanliness protocols.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position requiring fundamental abilities in reading, counting, and performing simple mathematical calculations for precise order processing. No specific educational degree is a prerequisite for this role.
• Experience: No minimum number of years of experience is explicitly required for this role; however, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in operating a ring scanner. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment is also important.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, proven ability to read and count accurately, proficiency in simple mathematical calculations, and effective multi-tasking capabilities. The role also requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bonus: Prior experience in pick/packing operations would be considered a significant asset and is highly preferred for this position.
