The TL;DR

• Location: U.S. (remote, client site, or in-office options available)

• Team: Digital Nexus
• Mission: Lead end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and optimization to support technology-enabled solutions.
• Tech Stack: Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), GenAI tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead initiatives: Guide project-based initiatives focused on end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and optimization to support technology solutions.
• Model processes: Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to lead structured process discovery and mapping sessions, developing current and future state process models using BPMN.
• Analyze and document: Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities, then elicit, document, and manage clear business and functional requirements.
• Automate processes: Identify and recommend opportunities for end-to-end process automation, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Agentic AI, aligning with business value and feasibility.
• Communicate insights: Clearly communicate process insights, recommendations, and design decisions to stakeholders through workshops, documentation, and presentations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent program, with a current GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Experience: Proficiency in process mapping and analysis, with experience using process diagramming and modeling tools, and working knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, effective cross-functional meeting facilitation, strong verbal and written communication, technical aptitude, and critical thinking skills.
• Bonus: Understanding of business processes and information management concepts, with exposure to project management methodologies and best practices, and the ability to apply these in a collaborative technology environment.
