About the Internship
This is an exciting unpaid internship opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in market expansion, customer engagement, and digital marketing within the dynamic North American enterprise landscape. You will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing our presence within the local food & beverage industry.
Responsibilities
1. Offline Store Visits & Sales Outreach
- Conduct in-person visits to local Chinese restaurants for direct field promotion of the ARA platform.
- Effectively introduce restaurant owners to the ARA platform, highlighting its alliance benefits and product advantages.
- Prospect and build a robust pipeline by acquiring owner WeChat contacts for potential leads.
- Gather valuable industry insights and meticulously document all visit records and feedback.
- Support the initial touchpoints of the sales funnel through direct, engaging interactions.
2. WeChat Group Establishment & Management
- Build and maintain local food & beverage industry WeChat groups, targeting specific city goals (minimum 100 members per group).
- Onboard visited merchants into the groups, actively assisting with group expansion and quality member screening.
- Manage group content distribution, provide basic inquiry responses, and collect restaurant needs and feedback.
- Execute engaging group activities such as Q&A sessions, promotions, events, and themed discussions.
- Monitor group health, aiming for a minimum 20% activity rate, and drive effective inquiries and conversions.
3. Content & Social Media Execution
- Shoot short videos showcasing local store explorations, industry observations, and training content.
- Collaborate with the central marketing/operations team to produce engaging graphic materials, event posters, and group announcements.
- Distribute content within community groups, organize materials efficiently, and create simple yet effective copy.
- Compile daily and weekly reports covering key metrics such as visit numbers, group membership, and customer feedback.
- Assist in building a localized content repository to enhance brand exposure and recognition.
Qualifications
- Current university student or recent graduate; all majors are welcome (Marketing or Business Management preferred).
- Strong communication skills, an outgoing personality, and a genuine willingness to engage with people.
- Demonstrated interest in digital marketing, social media, and B2B marketing strategies.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus; willingness to visit clients in person is preferred.
