About the Job: Remote RAW Photo Collection Project

This is an exciting opportunity for photography enthusiasts with a keen eye for detail and a modern digital camera to contribute to cutting-edge AI and computer vision technologies.

Key Information

• Work Location: Remote within the US
• Expected Work Schedule/Workload: 20 hours per week (ideally Monday – Friday, 4 h/day)
• Engagement Model: Independent Contractor/Freelance
• Estimated Project Duration: 1-2 months
• Estimated Start Date: ASAP
• Compensation: Task-based, with strong earning potential tied to productivity and quality.
• Ownership: Photographers retain full ownership of their submitted photos, which are used exclusively for internal purposes.

Opportunity Details

We are expanding our RAW Photo Collection Project and invite skilled photographers to contribute high-quality RAW images. This fully remote, flexible opportunity is designed for photographers interested in generating additional income while supporting the development of advanced AI and computer vision technologies.

The role involves capturing new RAW images specifically for this project and also allows for contributing suitable RAW photos from your existing library, provided they meet the project’s technical and quality standards.

Role Summary: The Photographer

The Photographer is responsible for capturing and submitting high-quality, unedited RAW images that meet specific project specifications. This role requires daytime availability and the ability to consistently meet weekly productivity expectations. Compensation is performance-based, directly linked to productivity and the quality of submissions.

Role Responsibilities

• Capture High-Quality Native RAW Images:
  • RAW Images: Individual, unedited images captured directly from the device.
  • Image Pairs: Pairs of identical unedited photos, with specific objects present in one and absent in the other photo.
• Ensure Image Standards: All images must be unedited, original, not AI-generated, aesthetically pleasing, and visually interesting with an intent behind the composition.
• Location Compliance: Ensure adherence to location eligibility requirements for both public and non-public images.
• Maintain Production Targets: A consistent weekly production target of a minimum of 400 images per week is expected, equating to 20 RAW images per hour.
• Upload Images: Timely upload of images to the designated working platform.

Role Requirements

• Age and Residency: 18+ years old and a resident of the United States.
• State Residency: Must be located in one of the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
• Availability: Preferred weekly availability of 20 hours or more.
• Photography Experience: Demonstrable photography experience is required. Education or certification in the photography field and a strong portfolio are a plus.
• Equipment Needed:
  • Camera: Must own a full-frame mirrorless/DSLR or APS-C mirrorless/DSLR digital camera that is less than 5 years old.
  • Tripod: Must own a tripod.
• Work Ethic:
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet productivity and throughput expectations.
  • Experience working as a company team member (preferred).

• Technical Access: Reliable internet access for uploading large RAW files.
• Application Requirement: Provide a sample of 5 RAW images including EXIF data during the application process for skill and device verification.
