Admissions Associate | Alpha School

The Tone:
This is a contract role at Alpha School, located in Miami, FL. This Admissions Associate role is critical, as you are the face of Alpha, defining how the school communicates, operates, and fulfills its commitments to prospective families. You will be the memorable point of contact, turning initial curiosity and uncertainty into trust and confident enrollment for families.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Inquiry Management: Address inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours, ensuring communication is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha’s voice.
• Event Coordination: Design and deliver engaging admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and current applicant records across all admissions platforms and CRM systems.
• Family Engagement: Conduct meetings with families to clarify Alpha’s educational model, respond to their concerns, and capture their valuable input.
• Collaborative Support: Collaborate closely with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure continuous family engagement and smooth progress throughout the admissions journey.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A background with at least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, it is not strictly required for this role.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers, and at least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy.
• Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written), coupled with strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail.
• Bonus: A background in education, enrollment management, or school operations; experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs; and comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments.
