What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Work closely with experienced family law attorneys, providing comprehensive support in various aspects of their cases, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing briefs.
• Client Communication: Conduct regular interactions with clients, both in-person and through written communication, to gather necessary information, discuss case updates, and effectively address their concerns.
• Case Preparation: Be deeply involved in preparing family law cases, such as those involving divorce, child custody, and spousal support, by conducting interviews, gathering evidence, organizing documents, and preparing case summaries.
• Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research on complex family law issues, including statutes, regulations, and case precedents, then draft legal memoranda, motions, and other supportive documents.
• Court Representation: Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings alongside senior attorneys to gain essential exposure to the courtroom environment and practical experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Doctorate Degree (Juris Doctor) and licensed to practice law, in good standing, in the state of Georgia. Career level: Early Career.
• Experience: Proficient in performing legal research and writing.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service abilities. Possess a positive attitude and optimistic outlook, with the capacity to work productively. Exhibit strong organizational skills, efficiency, sound judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
