Business Analyst (Junior to Mid-level)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 ONLY)

Location: Hybrid – Martinsville, Indiana (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $30.00/hr

Job Summary

This is a W2 contract Business Analyst position supporting a critical government contract. The role requires being onsite 3 days a week in Martinsville, Indiana. We are seeking a junior to mid-level candidate with 1-3 years of Business Analyst experience who is eager to learn, coachable, and possesses a go-getter attitude. This role supports one of our client’s top projects, working closely with customers, product teams, and engineering partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Translating business needs into clear, functional specifications.
  • Facilitating working sessions with various stakeholders.
  • Supporting design documentation processes.
  • Assisting with Quality Assurance (QA) efforts to ensure solutions meet both business and functional expectations throughout the implementation phase.

Top Skills Required

  • Business System Analysis: Proven ability to analyze business processes and systems.
  • Requirements Gathering: Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements, including submitting them into Jira.
  • Systems Understanding: Fundamental knowledge of how systems operate and how data flows within them.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Eager to learn and grow career and skills.
  • Possesses a strong “go-getter” attitude.
  • Coachable and open to feedback.
  • Tech writing skills are considered a bonus.
