Electro Gum is a functional chewing gum designed for athletes — packed with electrolytes to fuel performance, focus, and recovery. We’ve grown significantly, boasting a network of over 9,200 college athlete ambassadors, 134 NBA players, 28 NFL players, and many more.

We’re actively seeking a Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is primarily focused on managing athlete communications and CRM, ensuring that every athlete ambassador experiences a seamless, professional, and personalized journey with Electro Gum. You will serve as the authentic voice of our brand in athlete DMs and play a crucial role in cultivating and strengthening our athlete community.

Responsibilities

• Respond to athlete DMs daily with accuracy, speed, and professionalism, embodying Electro Gum’s brand ethos.
• Maintain strong athlete relationships through clear, supportive, and consistent communication.
• Efficiently answer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and resolve athlete inquiries using provided playbooks and guidelines.
• Promptly escalate unique requests or complex issues to the founding team for swift resolution.
• Log and meticulously track all athlete interactions within our CRM systems, specifically Notion and Social Snowball.
• Represent Electro Gum’s brand voice with infectious energy, unwavering positivity, and genuine care in all communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English and communication skills are paramount.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability — ensuring no mistakes in the athlete onboarding process.
• Comfortable and proficient with Instagram DMs and basic CRM tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of athlete communication effectively and efficiently.
• A passion for sports, Name, Image, Likeness (NIL), and athlete culture (preferred but not strictly required).
