About the Job: Nursing Informatics Specialist at Alignerr

As a Nursing Informatics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between frontline nursing practice and sophisticated health information systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure that electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical data tools accurately reflect real-world nursing workflows, thereby supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with IT and technical teams to translate nursing workflows and clinical needs into effective informatics and EHR system designs.
• Evaluate clinical and system data to identify trends, pinpoint performance gaps, and discover opportunities to enhance patient care and documentation quality.
• Recommend and support the implementation of enhancements to health information systems to improve care efficiency, usability, and clinical outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• A Registered Nurse (RN) or an individual with an equivalent clinical background, possessing experience in clinical informatics or health IT.
• Hands-on experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, along with familiarity with clinical documentation workflows.
• A strong ability to analyze both clinical and system data and effectively translate these insights into actionable system or workflow improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems.
