What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify prospective businesses aligning with Allied’s acquisition strategy.
• Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation and underwriting of potential acquisition opportunities by analyzing financial data, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Reporting: Collaborate with team members to prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal review and decision-making.
• Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes, including data gathering, validation, and coordination of key information.
• Strategy: Support the development of investment theses and contribute innovative insights to refine our acquisition strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: College student in the San Diego area, able to commute to the office in San Diego, CA. This internship is offered for academic credit in coordination with your university.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in private equity, business development, and a genuine curiosity for the legacy-driven business landscape.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and an aptitude for financial and business analysis.
• Bonus: Ability or experience working in unstructured and ambiguous environments with minimal hands-on oversight, demonstrating self-motivation and self-supervision.
