What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Actively engage and interact with all customers to deliver a highly satisfied shopping experience, role-modeling established customer experience practices and embodying customer experience principles. Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Sales & Transactions: Accurately process customer purchases and returns, including counting change, according to established operating procedures. Proactively promote company credit and loyalty programs to customers.
• Merchandise Management: Accurately process and prepare new merchandise for the sales floor, adhering to company procedures and standards. Maintain and uphold the merchandising philosophy, following established procedures for product display and presentation.
• Store Operations & Maintenance: Ensure the sales floor and entire store environment meet all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards, participating in store recovery efforts throughout the day.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all labor laws, company policies, and procedures. Support store shrink reduction goals and programs, and actively participate in safety awareness to maintain a secure environment for customers and associates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: No formal education or specific certifications are specified for this entry-level retail role.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required; however, experience in customer-facing roles is considered beneficial.
• Skills: Possesses excellent customer service, strong communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking, able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and capable of lifting heavy objects. The ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors is also essential.
• Bonus: Retail customer experience is preferred.
